Designation applied for.

As indicated in the last meeting, in January, the application for designation as Neighbourhood Forum & Neighbourhood Area had been submitted to Durham County Council.

There follows a period of review, and a period of publication. The council need some time to update their systems before the ‘consultation’ period of 6 weeks so this is due to start around April 14th. A decision must be made within 13 weeks, but will hopefully be nearer to 10 weeks.
